Update in progress, The Haunted Hospice.

Dear players,

On the 1st of august this year we released The Haunted Hospice and with its release we were very excited to see and hear the response of the people who would give our game a chance.

However shortly after its release we ourselves became uncertain about the state that we released the game in, not being experienced game developers we started realising that we may have over looked quite some problems with our game.

During this time we decided to wait for the response of the playerbase and the few streamers who were kind enough to buy and play our game, through this our suspicions became true and we now fully realised that we released our game in a bad state.

And for this we sincerely apoligize.

But now the question was what to do?

At first we decided that the least we could do was fix the technical and graphical problems people were experiencing while playing The Haunted Hospice throughout doing so we made the decisions to do more, this in itself grew out to be quite a big update that brings new things to the game and many more other things. 

Wit hit also came the addition that we’re now working with 2 third party artists one who is a sound designer, and the other one who is a 3d artist.

List of all the changes for the upcoming update.

• The starting zone has been completely re-newed ( New foliage, Better trees, overall better graphics and better optimization)
• The hospital Has been completely re-newed + a new zone added (Better streamlined e.g. less locked doors and a better more logical layout, Overall better graphics and better optimization.
• AI Logic improved.
• New and improved animations.
• New and improved UI.
• New and improved quest system.
• New and improved inventory system.
• More in-game mechanics (e.g hiding, camera pictures + more).
• Player now has a visible body with dedicated animations.
• Jumpscares have been changed and overall improved, some have been removed.
• Better streamlined story (The story went all over the place at times, so we improved this).
• Better porting for consoles or other devices (Full controller support).
• Overall better optimization. 
• Better localisation,

Here is a list of changes made to already existing systems.

• Collectables ( We significantly reduced the amount of collectables in the game, this should be a unimportant side mechanic of the game and not a filler to artificially make the game longer).

For the players who already own and have a safe file for The Haunted Hospice,
because of the changes and the scope of the update your current safe file will be deleted. We sincerely apoligize for this inconvenience.
